MilSpouse Friday Fill In #5

Thanks to Wife of A Sailor for these questions! Go link up!!! :)

1. Do you or your husband ever wish that your husband was in a different branch of the military? submitted by The Turner Family

I don’t think so. Sure, I would like the benefits of the Marine’s or Air Force’s shorter deployments. But I’ve only had experience with the Army so I can’t really say I’d prefer a different branch.

2. What duty station(s) are on your “No Way, Hell No, Not Going, Have Fun Unaccompanied” list and why? submitted by Every Branch

I don’t know if there are any. I think I could be content anywhere. We've been separated long enough that I wouldn't care where we were at as long as we're together. Cliche and possibly cheesey? Yes, but it's entirely true. I would LOVE to be stationed in Germany or even Alaska. And really, it’s somewhat temporary, so if I didn’t like it, it’d change in 2-3 years anyways.

3. If you could be one age forever, what age would you choose and why? submitted by Three Krakens

27

I’m know, I'm not even 27 yet (still three-ish months away). But 27 has fun things and lots of changes and I am so friggin excited for them it’s not even funny: wedding, starting our married lives together, quitting job, PCS’ing, living together, end of deployment (I’ll still be 26 for this though), getting pets. Yeah, it’s going to be pretty damn awesome!!!

4. If you were a breakfast cereal, which one would you be? submitted by the C.W.

Ummm, raisin bran? Or Total has a new cinnamon toast crunch that's pretty good.

5. What is your morning beverage of choice and why? submitted by NH Girl Displaced

Water. That’s pretty much all I ever drink. Or milk. Well, I guess I have milk with cereal in the morning, but I don't drink a separate glass of that. I very occasionally want coffee, and when I do, I want Kahula in it like the day R&R ended and Seth had to go back. What? It calmed my nerves. It was NECESSARY.

  1. I drink water pretty much all day. I don't drink coffee, soda or juice and my doctor told me I was boring. I thought water was supposed to be good for you and she was complaining about it! You have lots of exciting things this year!
