Webcamming on Christmas?

I’m really hoping that Seth and I will be able to webcam at some point in the day on Christmas. I plan to wake up at my parents on Christmas morning, open gifts there, go to his parents, have breakfast there and be with them while they open gifts and then I’ll hang out with them until they go to Seth’s grandma’s house to eat, which will probably be around 1. Then I’ll head back to my parent’s house and I’ll spend the rest of the afternoon there. Luckily, our parents’ only live about 20 minutes from each other. So yeah, in between all this, I would like to webcam with my love. While planning all this in my head, a few logical problems arose:
  1. I don’t have a laptop that has a webcam
  2. I will be at my parent’s house and they have a desktop, sans webcam
  3. Seth’s parents have a webcam, but it might be kind of awkward if I ask them, hey…can I use your computer so I can see Seth? Actually it probably wouldn’t be awkward, I would just feel awkward because I’d be the loner in the office not socializing with everyone. I could be like Kip, in Napoleon Dynomite, when he says “Napoleon, don’t be jealous that I’ve been chatting online with babes all day.” Seth is a babe.
  4. I contemplated bringing my webcam to my parent’s house to set up there
Then yesterday, I remembered that my dad has a work laptop that has a webcam. So I called him and asked him to please be sure that he brings it home over Christmas break (or else I’ll make him go to work and get it on Christmas morning…). He then asked if I would also like him to bring a big projector monitor (we're talking like a 50 inch screen...) so Seth can be displayed for all to see. As much as I would LOVE to see this happen, I really do not think Seth would appreciate this. Actually, I know he’d hate it. He dislikes being put “on display” like that. Because I love him so, I will not torture and do this to him. Don’t get me wrong, I did consider it for a quick moment, but then decided against it. Out of pure love.

Seth - you're welcome in advance and you can thank me when you get home :) I love you!!!! xxoo

G-Camming date night!!

UHhhhh, YEAH I'm totally excited, thankyouverymuch. Are you crazy, deployment donut!? Leave hasn't even happened yet!! I'm more excited for that to take place, and then I'll be super excited for this deployment to be overwith.
Seth and I g-cammed on Saturday night. It was about 1:30 AM my time, and somewhere around 10 AM his time. I think. I'm not good at math. And espeically with the weird multi hour + half hour time difference...that's hard for me to calculate. Anyways, we g-cammed for a good few minutes. Third time this deployment!!! His internet was being awesomesauce and it stayed connected for a really long time. We talked for about 45 minutes maybe? I was so tired, I don't know. I just know it was cooperating nicely. And then he said we can try to g-cam!!! It took a few minutes to get it connected properly but then it connected. It disconnected a few times, but we were able to re-connect. It was wonderful seeing him and got me so very excited for leave!!!! He was showing me his extra long hair...he said he hasn't cut the top of he deployed (he thinks...he can't remember if he's cut it, but he doesn't think so). So he was running his hands through his hair and showing me how long it was. His hair was so long, he seriously looked like he had a combover!!! It was so cute. :) We still don't have sound on g-camming, so we talked on gmail chat, and just looked at each other. I took screen shots of us "talking", but they're on my home computer and I'm at work right now. He was obviously in his uniform and I was wearing jeans and a long sleeve shirt and a multi-colored scarf. I was also really cold and so I had my Snuggie on. (Yeah, I have a Snuggie. Don't hate until you try it!) I guess I could have taken off my Snuggie so I could have looked a little nicer for our 3rd g-camming date in 8 months, but hey man, I was cold. And he knows I hate being cold. But the point is: we got to g-cam and it was the most wonderful thing in the whole world :)

It's been 194 days....

...since Seth and I have seen each other in person. That is such a huge number.

We were chatting on gmail this morning. Well, actually, he was signed in, but he wasn't there, so I was somewhat talking to him, with no response. When he finally came back, I said, "where have you been all my life?!?!" And by "all my life" I meant the last 2 hours that he was signed in but wasn't at his computer. Anyways. I'm soo not dramatic.

His response was so cute. He said, "I've always been right here...waiting :) "

So cute, huh!? YEP HE IS!!!!

We also got to g-video chat this weekend. It was for like less than 5 minutes and he had just woken up and was in his pajamas/PT shorts and shirt and had on a beanie and he looked sexxxxy as hell. And he was rubbing his eyes cuz he was sleepy. And he is growing his hair out, which he showed me. It obviously won't last for long because they won't allow it, but he has had a shaved head for a long time now. I like when he has hair. Then we got disconnected and he had to go shower and get ready for work. I'll take 5 minutes over no time though. Especially after 194 days of not seeing him.

Is it January yet??

Google Video Chat WORKED!!!!!

Last night I wasn't feeling so great so I took a bath, and then watched Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta. As per my usual watching TV late at night, I fell asleep around 10:30 and woke up at midnight. I got online to email Seth and decided to get on google chat to see if he was on. He was and we started talking. Then he told me he was downloading the video plugin for google chat, and i should too. A few minutes later, we were webcamming!!!!! He could hear me, but I couldn't hear him, but we could see each other and that's really all that mattered to me. Since it was midnight, I was wearing a t-shirt of his, no make up, nap time hair and had a band-aid on my face (don't ask). I quickly ripped that off, put my hair in a ponytail and then moved my camera down so he could see me, not stare at my ceiling. His nose is quite red and sun-burned looking. He still looked hot though :) See?!

It's also been exactly 5 months since he deployed. We're almost to the half way point!!!! It seems like eternity already. It has been 6 months since we've seen each other in person though. Leave can't come soon enough.

When we were webcamming, my throat was hurting kind of bad. I went to bed and woke up at 6:49 am and my whole body ached and my throat hurt even more. I took some medicine and went back to bed. I did not feel like getting out of bed this morning. I think I could have stayed in bed alllllll day long. I have a lot of stuff on my to-do list today, so I better get my ass in gear.
