My horoscope and PCSing

My horoscope today said:

Stress and frustration could be the result of having to try to reach people in distant states or foreign lands, Stacy. The time difference could well be a factor. If you think things through carefully, you should be able to coordinate it so that you can get through to them in a timely fashion, and whatever you're trying to accomplish with them should work out. Stay calm and focused, and you'll get through this with a minimum of upset.

And it couldn’t have been more perfect for right now.

When Seth got back after R&R, he mailed me some important paperwork that I’ve been anxiously awaiting. Since January. It’d make my life easier having this paper sooner rather than later. I’ve been waiting impatiently, especially the last few weeks. On Friday, I got one of two letters from him. It was a letter, not the paperwork, but they were mailed at the same time, so I’m sure I’ll be getting it very soon. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but ummm, too late for that. Hopes are at an all time high. I’m interpreting this horoscope as a good sign!

Anyways, in other news that got me excited: Seth got PCS orders!! To Washington state!! While I’m a littttttle tiny bit sad that I won’t have the chance to live in Germany right now at least, it’s probably best if I get acquainted with military life in the US rather than a foreign country. Maybe we’ll get stationed there in the future?! I was born in California and lived there until I was 10, and I’m BEYOND excited to be going back to the west coast. Plus, my sister is living in Oregon and we’ll just be a few hours away from her. I can’t wait to be back by the ocean, marine animals, the mountains, earthquakes (ok, not really, but I feel more comfortable with earthquakes than tornados), my brother and sister. I can’t wait for weekend trips to the mountain, or an afternoon to the coast, or a day in Seattle or maybe even going to Canada for a weekend. Hiking in the mountains, bike riding outside, fishing and camping. And hey, we’ll be close-ish to Alaska, so maybe we’ll find our way up there. A girl can hope.

This will be our first duty station together and we’ll be able to hopefully get a little puppy or kitty, and finally start our lives together.

I don’t do fist pumps, but I seriously want to right now.

I'm a Gemini!

So I've signed up for daily horoscopes (regular and love horoscopes), which are waiting in my inbox when I check my email. I'm a gemini, have I ever mentioned that? I am a TOTAL gemini and I love it. I'll do a post about that one day. But for now, I'm talking about today's horoscope.

My regular daily horoscope for today says:

If you aren't involved, you could well consider ways to expand your social life so as to enable you to meet potential mates. My daily love horoscope for today says:

The day's planetary energy may not help in making this the best time for a romantic evening out. You will not be feeling in the greatest of moods, and could find it difficult to whip up any kind of enthusiasm for what is to come. It may be better if you plan this for another time, when you will find it easier to rediscover the joy you naturally share.

So one horoscope says that I "probably want to schedule a romantic evening together." But then my love horoscope says "the day's planetary energy may not help in making this the best time for a romantic evening out." Hmmmmm....

No matter which horoscope I abide by today, I won't be getting that romantic evening, nor will I have a bad romantic evening because it's physically not possible. Thanks, Deployment.

However, SETH WILL BE HOME NEXT MONTH!!! And we can have 2 weeks of romantic evenings then! Do you know how long I've waited to say that?! Forever, basically. Actually it's been a whole year since I've been able to say that.

On a side note....I cut open a pomegranate last night (I LOVE pomegranates!!) and I got all the little seed pod things out. I have no idea what they're called. Anyways, my fingers and cuticles are all yellow now. It looks like I have jaundice. Just on my hands only. I wonder why my hands are all yellow when pomegranates are so red? I think I stained everything in my kitchen last night. Juice was squirting everywhere. Oh well, the taste is worth it :)

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday! Oh, it's Wednesday! I'm supposed to do a wedding post. I might do that later today. Wait, no I won't because I don't have any new news regarding the wedding. Other than I've gotten a lot of compliments on our save the dates and people are excited for it. :)

How so very true the first two sentences are. By “right now,” my horoscope clearly means that I won’t be able to get together with my love in the next few months even.
